These low coercivity mag stripe cards are designed for use in direct-to-card printers with magnetic stripe encoding capabilities. LoCo mag stripe cards are ideal for applications where the card is used for a short time period, such as hotel room keys, since low coercivity stripes can be erased after brief contact with a magnetic field.
Generally, low coercivity cards have a brown magnetic stripe and high coercivity cards have a black magnetic stripe.
Measuring 3.375'' x 2.125'' (the size of a credit card) and 30 mil thick, graphic-quality CR8030-LOCO low coercivity PVC cards are the standard, most commonly used plastic card size. These graphics quality CR8030-LoCo cards are vision inspected for quality and shrink-wrapped in packs of 100 cards.
