    Description

    1997 7-coin specimen set has:
    The special 10th anniversary aureate dollar, the loon(nickel-electroplated with bronze/nickel. The sets also include the new bi-metallic coin. The 50 cent coin has a newly designed coat-of-arms, replacing the earlier one of 1921.
    The finish on these superb coins is a three-fold combination of brilliant and frosted-relief on a lined finished background.
    The polar bear, outer ring: 99+% nickel; inner core: 92% Copper; 6% Al and 2% Ni.
    The 50Cent: Nickel
    The 25Cent: Nickel
    The 10Cent: Nickel
    The 5Cent  : Cupro-Nickel(75%-25%)
