    Description

    This is the first fairfax plate I have ever seen with this etching on it. The border etching is of a crown with what looks like ivy vine & in the center of the plate it has { SIGILLVM - COLLEGII - COLVMBIAE - NOVI - EBORACI }  I have looked on line and this translates to Hope collage in New York. The plate was well loved being it has many scratches but no chips seen or felt. The plate measures 10 1/4". If you have any question's ? feel free to ask & I will answer as soon as I can.
