    LA JOLLA PLAYHOUSE PERFORMING ARTS MAGAZINE - DEC. 1997 - Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Playhouse's 1947 Founding and the 15th Season since the Theater;s 1983 Revival, 12 x 9-inch cardboard folder with pockets at bottom of inside covers; comes with the Dec. 1997 magazine + two 8 x 10-inch B&W glossy publicity photos of Jean Baptiste Thierre and Victoria Chaplin performing their show "THE INVISIBLE CIRCUS" + 2 Playhouse inserts about the shows - one 2 pp. stapled together at the top corner, the other a single page, + xerox copies of 2 articles about the show from The San Diego Union-Tribune and the La Jolla Village News; VG+ overall condition (folder is very good with a tiny taped repare at vertical edge of back cover it it meets the inner pocket;; magazine is very good and would rate higher but but large creases at the lower front page and first two interior pages; photos with Playhouse descriptions affixed to their backs are excellent; inserts and articles are very good-plus).
    PLEASE NOTE: "THE INVISIBLE CIRCUS" was not performed at the La Jolla Playhouse. It played at the Mandell Weiss Theater on the nearby campus of UC-San Diego, located in La Jolla.
    The La Jolla Playhouse and its Globe Theater, located in Balboa Park, are beloved cultural highlights in the tony oceanfront and hillside village of La Jolla, CA, which isd north of San Diego along the Pacific Coast. This is a cool packet from a historic season.
