Vintage CE Potter Walnut Cracker Sapulpa Okla

This walnut cracker has rested on a shelf in our barn for over half a century in its original packaging.  It has been restored to original condition and finish.  The walnut cracker is complete with its base mount.
One viewer asked about the apparent bend in the protective sheet metal shroud that protects for flying walnut shell pieces.  He reported that the bends were not "original".  I did take a much closer look at mine and am now convinced that the bends are factory-made.  There are bends on both sides, I adjusted one side a small amount so it is now symmetrical with the other.
My photos for this item are quite clear and well-focused, that could account for the apparent lack of shroud bends in other Ebay listing photos.
