Get those anodes/zincs replaced to finish that service job on your Yamaha outboard, then get back on the water! Zincs/anodes help to protect your outboard on the inside out. There are a couple of different anodes throughout the engine that need to be inspected and replaced regularly. Most internal zincs are recommended to be inspected and replaced every 100 hours. These are genuine OEM parts manufactured by Yamaha Marine, not aftermarket parts.
This anode is also compatible with certain Mercury outboard models. The mercury part number is
825435.
